HostPapa in Europe is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and evolve CloudBlue's data analytics platform, with a focus on AI-driven capabilities.

You will build scalable data infrastructure, implement real-time pipelines, and embed AI into backend services, APIs, and business workflows.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across in a distributed environment, ensuring data quality and production readiness.

Formación

• Strong software engineering experience building data-intensive systems.
• Experience building data pipelines and production-scale workloads.
• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP) and containers.
• Knowledge of data quality, observability, and production SLOs.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and applying AI to engineering problems.
• Professional English proficiency for distributed teams.
• Familiarity with billing/monetization is a plus.
• Exposure to LLMs or AI services is advantageous.
• Experience with lakehouse patterns like Iceberg or Trino is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain high-volume data fabric with real-time ingestion and analytics.
• Own features end to end from design to testing and production.
• Drive AI adoption across the platform and develop AI-powered workflows.
• Design and integrate APIs connecting data, services, and workflows.
• Collaborate with small cross-functional teams.
• Work with Product Managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, observability, and performance.
• Support professional growth with your Engineering Manager.
• Tackle additional tasks to meet team and business needs.
