Job summary

Construo AG is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to build scalable Palantir-based data pipelines and analytics-ready datasets. You will develop transformations with Python and PySpark, implement robust ETL/ELT workflows, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.

The role emphasizes data quality, CI/CD, and strong analytical design in a remote-friendly setup across Spain and Portugal.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer.
• Strong Python skills with hands-on PySpark experience.
• Solid SQL knowledge and ETL experience.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and analytical data design.
• English proficiency with at least B2/C1 level.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products using Palantir.
• Develop data transformations using Python and PySpark.
• Build robust ETL/ELT workflows integrating multiple data sources.
• Write efficient SQL for data transformation and analytics.
• Design and maintain data models optimized for analytical use cases.
• Collaborate with business and analytics stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Ensure data quality and reliability through testing, monitoring, and CI/CD.
• Analyze data to identify inconsistencies and improvement opportunities.
• Document solutions and contribute to data engineering best practices.
