Job summary

Dxc Technology Company in Madrid is seeking a Senior Data Center Power Protection Controls Engineer to drive the design and implementation of protection schemes for mission critical data centers. You will lead engineering analyses, coordinate with facilities technicians, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

You'll work on HIL testing, protection and control engineering, and explore renewable integration, aiming for reliable, energy-efficient facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in critical infrastructure projects.
• 5 years of Hardware-in-the-Loop testing with RTDS/OPAL-RT.
• 5 years in protection and control engineering.
• Experience with mission critical systems and operations.

Responsibilities

• Define data center system-level architecture and development procedures.
• Conduct engineering analyses and develop facility designs.
• Ensure designs meet cooling/structural/operational requirements.
• Investigate renewable power and storage technologies for protection.
• Lead execution and field testing teams for complex protection schemes.
