DayOne Data Centers Singapore PTE. LTD. is seeking a Data Center Mechanical Design Manager to lead the mechanical design of mission-critical data center projects across Europe, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and related building services.

The role requires 8–10 years of experience in mechanical/HVAC design for hyperscale or cloud infrastructure, with strong leadership and proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and communicate effectively in English.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional Engineer or Chartered Engineer certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the mechanical design for data center projects (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, related systems).
• Oversee cooling architecture, chilled water, airflow management, redundancy, and energy efficiency.
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders (electrical, architectural, civil, fire protection, ELV, controls, operations).
• Provide technical leadership to ensure reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Review drawings, specifications, calculations, and proposals for accuracy and constructability.
• Ensure designs comply with DayOne standards, local regulations, sustainability targets, and end-user requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to assess equipment against project needs and lifecycle expectations.
• Identify risks and resolve technical issues throughout design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
