Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Architect- Site Architect for Data Center projects in Spain. You will lead architectural design and coordination for hyperscale data-centre developments, working with multidisciplinary teams across Arup's global network.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years of experience in complex projects, fluency in Spanish and high-level English, and a strong background in CAD and Revit, with a passion for sustainability and innovation.

Qualifications

• Studies in Architecture in a relevant program.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience on complex projects.
• Experience with Spanish execution projects and permitting processes preferred.
• Strong design skills with a technical orientation and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of strategic datacenter infrastructure projects across Spain and internationally.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex, high-profile programmes from site stages through design evolution.
• Develop architectural solutions addressing technical, operational and user requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants and stakeholders to deliver integrated designs.
• Gain exposure to international best practices and innovative design approaches within Arup's global portfolio.
