Bertrandt Group oviedo, Asturias, España, busca un Senior Data Analyst para apoyar a un cliente en el puente entre ingeniería mecánica y estrategia de negocio en el sector Powertrain. Se valorará experiencia en análisis de datos y en posicionamiento competitivo.

Se requiere grado en Ingeniería Mecánica o afines, experiencia en mercados y habilidades analíticas y de presentación avanzadas. Se ofrece estabilidad en un grupo multinacional con disponibilidad para viajar ocasionalmente.

Formación

• Requisitos: grado en Ingeniería Mecánica o similar.
• Experiencia en investigación de mercados y análisis de datos.
• Habilidades analíticas y capacidad de traducir datos en asesoría estratégica.
• Dominio avanzado de presentaciones (PPT) y Excel.
• Inglés alto; otros idiomas son un plus.
• Perfil senior con experiencia ≥5 años.

Responsabilidades

• Analizar grandes conjuntos de datos y extraer información clave.
• Resumir información en Excel y convertirla en presentaciones ejecutivas en PowerPoint.
• Ser punto de contacto principal para solicitudes del cliente y presentaciones finales.
• Investigar mercado y competidores para definir el posicionamiento del producto.
• Realizar análisis de competidores y comparar con productos del cliente.
• Mantener actualizaciones diarias sobre tendencias de la industria.

Your role:

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support one of our clients by bridging the gap between complex mechanical engineering and high-level business strategy. This role goes beyond database management — it acts as the link between engine and transmission data and the strategic decisions that drive our client’s market positioning in the powertrain industry.

These will be your main responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets and collect only the necessary key information
• Summarize key information in excel format and translate this into clear executive-level PowerPoint presentations
• Act as the primary point of contact for client requests and final presentations
• Conduct in-depth market and competitor research and analysis to define the positioning of our client’s products against other market leaders.
• Perform competitor analyses and compare positioning against our client’s products.
• Maintain daily newsfeed updates on industry trends

What do we expect from you?

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant technical backgrounds
• Direct experience or good technical knowledge of Engines and/or Transmissions
• Mandatory experience in Market research and Data analysis or product strategy
• Good analytical skills and capability to translate data into strategic advice
• Advanced presentation skills (PPT and oral)
• Advanced Excel skills
• High proficiency in English. French/Italian/Spanish/Chinese as a plus
• Senior profile with at least 5 years of work experience
• Being able to work in a challenging and fast paced environment
• Available to travel every 6-8 weeks to the HQ in Madrid (not mandatory)
