Bertrandt AG Spain busca un Analista de Datos Senior para apoyar a un cliente, conectando ingeniería mecánica con estrategia de negocio. El rol implica transformar datos de motores y transmisiones en decisiones estratégicas para posicionar el producto en el mercado.

Se requiere experiencia en investigación de mercado y análisis de datos, habilidades avanzadas de Excel y presentaciones en PPT, con inglés fluido.

Formación

• Formación en Ingeniería Mecánica u otra formación técnica relevante
• Experiencia directa o conocimiento técnico de Motores y/o Transmisiones
• Experiencia en Market research y Data analysis o estrategia de producto
• Habilidades analíticas para convertir datos en asesoramiento estratégico
• Competencias avanzadas de presentaciones (PPT y verbal)
• Alta competencia en Excel y nivel alto de inglés
• Perfil senior con al menos 5 años de experiencia laboral
• Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno desafiante y dinámico
• Disponibilidad para viajar cada 6-8 semanas a la sede en Madrid (no obligatorio)

Responsabilidades

• Analizar grandes conjuntos de datos y extraer la información clave necesaria
• Resumir información en formato Excel y traducirla en presentaciones ejecutivas en PowerPoint
• Ser el punto de contacto principal para solicitudes de clientes y presentaciones finales
• Realizar investigaciones de mercado y competidores para definir el posicionamiento de los productos del cliente
• Realizar análisis de la competencia y comparar el posicionamiento con los productos del cliente
• Mantener actualizadas noticias diarias sobre tendencias de la industria

Your role:

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support one of our clients by bridging the gap between complex mechanical engineering and high-level business strategy. This role goes beyond database management — it acts as the link between engine and transmission data and the strategic decisions that drive our client's market positioning in the powertrain industry.

These will be your main responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets and collect only the necessary key information
• Summarize key information in excel format and translate this into clear executive-level PowerPoint presentations
• Act as the primary point of contact for client requests and final presentations
• Conduct in-depth market and competitor research and analysis to define the positioning of our client's products against other market leaders.
• Perform competitor analyses and compare positioning against our client's products.
• Maintain daily newsfeed updates on industry trends

What do we expect from you?

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant technical backgrounds
• Direct experience or good technical knowledge of Engines and/or Transmissions
• Mandatory experience in Market research and Data analysis or product strategy
• Good analytical skills and capability to translate data into strategic advice
• Advanced presentation skills (PPT and oral)
• Advanced Excel skills
• High proficiency in English. French/Italian/Spanish/Chinese as a plus
• Senior profile with at least 5 years of work experience
• Being able to work in a challenging and fast paced environment
• Available to travel every 6-8 weeks to the HQ in Madrid (not mandatory)
