Omya is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst in Barcelona to turn SAP and enterprise data into actionable insights for executive decision-making. You will develop analytics models and dashboards, driving performance improvement initiatives with AI-enabled tools and close collaboration with Finance and business teams.

The role is hybrid, offering a blend of remote and on-site work, with a focus on data-driven value creation across an international environment.

Formación

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or performance reporting, ideally international.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and enterprise reporting environments, plus AI-enabled tools.
• Strong data visualization skills with Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud or similar.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced international setting.
• Collaborative mindset, proactive listening, curiosity, and solid business acumen.

As Senior Data Analyst - Performance Analytics & AI, you will play a key role in transforming data into actionable business insights and supporting data-driven decision-making at executive level. The role will initially report to the Head of Group Performance Improvement and is expected to transition into Omya Services & Solutions over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate SAP and enterprise data into reliable, structured, and decision-ready management insights.
• Interpretate performance data, including profitability drivers, margin leakage, cost structures and value improvement opportunities.
• Build and maintain analytical models and dashboards to support Group Performance Improvement priorities.
• Translate analytical outputs into financially sound conclusions and value improvement actions.
• Enable KPI and value realization tracking by developing the technical reporting logic, visualization layer, and data refresh processes.
• Apply AI-enabled tools to improve the speed, quality, and scalability of performance analytics and digital capabilities.
• Engage with Finance and Business teams to connect data insights to business realities and conversion into measurable value creation.

Key Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or performance reporting, ideally within an international environment.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and enterprise reporting environments, combined with strong agility in applying AI-enabled tools.
• Strong expertise in data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar platforms.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced international environment.
