Joppy is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to partner with Operations and Product teams, turning complex business challenges into clear analyses and strategic recommendations that improve customer experience.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to design experiments, define metrics, and present findings to senior leaders, while building robust data abstractions with dbt, Airflow, and BI tools.

Formación

• At least 4 years of experience working cross-functionally with complex datasets to support organizational decision-making.
• Hands-on experience with A/B testing and experiment design.
• Strong SQL proficiency, including reviewing code written by others.
• Experience building data abstractions with dbt or Airflow.

A platform we collaborate with at Joppy is looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst to partner with Operations and Product teams, turning complex business challenges into clear analysis and strategic recommendations that improve customer experience.

• Serve as a strategic partner and advisor to product managers and business leaders, using data to recommend customer experience optimization strategies.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and conduct rigorous experiments that support product development.
• Work with Operations Program leadership to define measurement strategies for program health and operational performance.
• Establish comprehensive metrics, develop clear reporting, and create regular monitoring processes.
• Analyze key customer experience and operational metrics to identify emerging trends and opportunities for deeper research.
• Develop and present concise narratives from analytical findings to senior Operations leaders, highlighting problems and proposed solutions.
• Support the development and maintenance of core reporting abstractions built in dbt, business intelligence reporting, and AI semantic layers.
• At least 4 years of experience working cross-functionally with complex datasets to support organizational decision-making.
• Hands-on experience with A/B testing and experiment design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analysis and results to business partners clearly, concisely, and meaningfully.
• Ability to independently translate stakeholder questions into clear, actionable analytical problems.
• Experience building data abstractions with tools such as dbt or Airflow.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Mode, Looker, Periscope, or Tableau.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including the ability to confidently review code written by other analysts and data scientists.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field or professional experience applying statistics.
• Ability to code in Python or R.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for analytics.
• Experience working with customer service datasets, such as Zendesk.
• Experience with workforce forecasting.
• First-year salary range in the greater Barcelona area: €47,124–€60,319.
• Long-term incentive plan with a company performance-based cash payout.
