Job summary

Outpost24 is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Advisor to join our growing team in Barcelona, Amsterdam, Leuven or Sweden. This customer-facing expert will lead security advisory engagements, shape strategy, and help customers strengthen their security posture at the highest level.

The role requires 5+ years in cybersecurity, strong leadership with executive stakeholders, and fluency in English. Certifications like CISSP/CISM are a plus; visas and relocation support may apply for cross-border

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, ideally in advisory/consulting or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to translate complex security concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience shaping security strategy and risk remediation with executives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior escalation point and trusted advisor for strategic accounts.
• Lead end-to-end advisory engagements with executive stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on risk remediation, programme maturity, and regulatory alignment.
• Translate findings into clear, actionable insights with cross-functional teams.
• Navigate complex stakeholder environments and communicate difficult findings at executive level.
• Contribute to growth through solution design, SOWs and commercial input.
• Mentor advisors and establish best practices within the advisory delivery team.
• Drive evolution of customer security programmes and advisory services.
