ING is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Portfolio Analyst to join the Retail Credit Risk Team in Spain. The role focuses on overseeing the risk of the Spanish Retail Lending portfolio throughout the credit lifecycle, with collaboration across international teams.

You will analyze Personal Loans risk, monitor reporting, and support regulatory compliance while driving portfolio growth with a pragmatic, data-driven approach.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Business, Statistics, Maths or Econometrics.
• Proven experience in risk management for Retail lending portfolios, particularly Personal Loans.
• Excellent knowledge of statistics and/or mathematics, as well as programming, in SAS and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Independent, creative and proactive mindset with a focus on pragmatic solutions.
• Fluent English and Spanish language skills.
• Eager to lead projects.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Credit Risk Portfolio Analyst to join our Retail Credit Risk Team of ING Retail Risk domain.

The responsibility of this team is to oversight the risk in the Spanish Retail Lending portfolio during the whole credit lifecycle, and our way of working is split in small subject-expert areas with a continuous interaction with international teams.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Senior Credit Risk Portfolio Analyst you will:

• Positively contribute to the risk management of the Spanish Portfolio, particularly for the Personal loans product, through your reporting, monitoring, and communication capabilities.
• Collaborate to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring appropriate levels of capital and provisions, and full compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Promote Personal Loans portfolio growth, together with the product/business side, on a profitable and sustainable manner.

• Proven experience in risk management for Retail lending portfolios, particularly Personal Loans. Experience in Consumer Lending for Business Banking customers would also be considered a valuable skill.
• Excellent knowledge of statistics and/or mathematics, as well as programming, in SAS and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of macroeconomic trends, banking and financial industry.
• Independent, creative and proactive mindset. Focus on delivering pragmatic and feasible solutions.
