ING España&Portugal seeks a Graduate to join Project Finance - Sector and Specialized Lending. You will support origination and execution of project finance transactions under supervision, working with deal teams across departments.

The role requires a Master’s degree and strong financial analysis, modelling, and problem-solving skills, with fluency in Spanish and English and exposure to lending, structured finance or credit risk.

Team of Wholesale Banking

The responsibility of this team is to provide project financing to our clients across different sectors and our way of working is in very close cooperation with other departments of the bank, leveraging our sector expertise and network.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Graduate you will:

Positively contribute to the origination and execution of project finance transactions, under appropriate supervision depending on the complexity of each opportunity.

Co-create credit analyses, ratings, commercial proposals, financial models, supporting annexes, term sheets and financing documentation as an active member of deal teams, working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors.

Ensure that the quality, accuracy and completeness of all deliverables enable ING and other stakeholders to make well-informed decisions, while supporting the successful execution of transactions and the delivery of high-quality client solutions.

The ideal candidate should be an ambitious professional with a Master's degree and above-average academic performance, as well as previous experience in the financial sector, accounting, or an advisory firm (including internships), preferably within a lending, structured finance or credit risk environment.

The candidate should possess strong financial analysis, financial modelling and problem-solving skills, together with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English. Knowledge of the Renewable Energy, Energy and TMT sectors will be considered a strong plus.

In addition, we expect the candidate to demonstrate the following key personal qualities:

• a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously;
• excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work;
• the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and functions;
