Unison, based in Madrid, is seeking an experienced Assistant General Counsel for Telecoms and Renewables to lead cross-border acquisitions and expand renewables across Europe. You will collaborate with senior management, origination, pricing, and property management teams while driving transactions to closing.
The role requires navigating complex deals, coordinating with internal and external counsel, and advising on property taxes and EU-wide compliance as Unison grows its European footprint.
Formación
- 10+ years of legal experience in law firms or renewable energy developers
- Strong background in renewable energy and real estate transactions
- Proficiency with Office 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Salesforce
Responsabilidades
- Support the Regional General Counsel – Europe in telecommunications matters
- Coordinate with internal and external counsel to manage transactions from initiation to closing
- Draft contracts and notarial deeds; oversee closing lifecycle
- Lead weekly legal coordination meetings
- Provide basic advice on property taxes and compliance across EU markets
- Assist expansion into new European markets and jurisdictions
