Microsoft Oy is seeking a Lead Commercial and Cost Management professional to drive end-to-end financial governance across large-scale datacentre construction projects. You will partner with design, construction, finance, scheduling, and controls teams to ensure projects stay within scope, budget, and timelines.

You will develop cost plans and budgets, forecast funding, and provide commercial guidance to enable effective decision making.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity surveying, Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience.
• Experience in Leadership experience in Construction Projects.
• Experience delivering cost management on datacentre construction projects.
• Experience of construction-phase commercial delivery, including general contractor procurement, change management, review of subcontractor costs and pay applications, and final account settlement.
• Experience delivering on projects with individual build values in excess of $500M.
• Clear understanding of the full construction lifecycle.
• Strong Power BI, Excel, reporting and tracking tooling.
• Clear executive-level written communication.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and cross-functional forums.
• Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) full membership or equivalent.
• English working proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead commercial and cost management activities across the full project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage project cost plans, estimates, and budgets, providing accurate forecasting and funding support.
• Provide commercial oversight of procurement activities, reviewing subcontractor packages and vendor agreements.
• Manage change control and commercial risk, evaluating change orders and resolving disputes.
• Drive governance, reporting frameworks, cost controls, value engineering, and regional best practices.
