Job summary

Tamarind Intelligence is seeking a Concept Artist to support pre-production and visual development of core game titles. The role focuses on creating concepts and references that guide the visual direction across projects inspired by Disney Speedstorm and Asphalt 9.

You will generate concepts for characters, environments, and props, collaborating with fellow artists and designers to shape a distinct visual identity. Fluency in English and experience with Photoshop and Blender are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated advanced expertise in concept art with a strong portfolio.
• Advanced proficiency in Photoshop for digital art creation and Blender or similar 3D software.
• Ability to produce clear and efficient sketches and develop concepts for characters, environments, and props.
• Fluent professional English, written and spoken, for collaboration in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Create character designs and illustrations, including line art and 3D blockouts, aligned with project requirements.
• Collaborate with artists and designers to develop and enhance the game's visual style.
• Iterate on designs under the Studio Art Director's guidance and deliver on project goals and timelines.
• Plan art assets for characters, environments and props, and communicate approach to relevant teams.
• Support production teams with visual references and maintain consistency across titles.
