Neural Grader seeks a Senior/Staff Computer Vision Engineer to design end-to-end CV/ML systems for industrial use and to lead development across production-ready services. You will drive research into robust solutions and mentor other engineers in a startup-like, collaborative team.

The role requires 5+ years in CV/ML, strong Python/Java, and a track record translating research into robust products within an international context.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in industry in Classical Computer Vision and Machine Learning, with a track record of shipping CV systems to production.
• Experience in industrial research and translating research results into products.
• Significant experience building and architecting software systems.
• Experience with vibe coding.
• Experience leading projects and mentoring other engineers.
• Data-driven conclusions using statistical inference.
• Strong programming in Python and Java.
• Self-driven, able to carry complex, ambiguous projects to completion.
• Pragmatic and goal-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop reliable, scalable machine learning models for object detection, segmentation, and classification from research to production.
• Drive research into SOTA solutions to enhance robustness to OOD data and set technical direction.
• Research, implement, and optimize CV and numerical algorithms for new components.
• Architect and build CV software systems, from microservices to prototyping.
• Apply statistical methods and create dashboards to monitor component performance and production systems.
• Pursue innovative development approaches that are robust and maintainable.
• Mentor engineers, review research solutions and code, and influence the technical roadmap.
