Neural Grader in Barcelona is seeking a Senior/Staff Computer Vision Engineer to lead end-to-end CV development, from research to production, within a startup-mentality team. You will design scalable ML models, drive SOTA research, and mentor engineers to shape the technical roadmap.

The role emphasizes hands-on software architecture, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with international teams on innovative autonomous solutions for industrial clients.

Formación

• 5+ years of industry experience in Classical Computer Vision and Machine Learning with a track record shipping CV systems to production.
• Experience in industrial research and translating research results into products.
• Significant experience building and architecting software systems.
• Experience with vibe coding.
• Experience leading projects and mentoring other engineers.
• Ability to draw data-driven conclusions using statistical inference.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
• Self-driven and able to carry complex, ambiguous projects to completion.
• Pragmatic and goal-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop reliable, scalable ML models for object detection, segmentation, and classification, end-to-end from research to production.
• Drive research into SOTA solutions to improve robustness to OOD data and set technical direction.
• Research, implement, and optimize CV and numerical algorithms to build new components or improve existing ones.
• Architect and build CV software systems, from production-ready microservices to rapid prototypes.
• Apply statistics and visualization to monitor component performance and production systems.
• Pursue innovative development with interdisciplinary approaches while maintaining software engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers, review research solutions and code, and influence the product roadmap.
