IQVIA is seeking an Associate Principal/Principal COA Endpoint Strategy to lead COA measurement science in client engagements and projects in Madrid. You will differentiate solutions with COA strategy, instrument development, and regulatory interactions.

You will mentor teams, publish findings, and contribute to business development while representing IQVIA as a scientific leader in COA science.

Formación

• Deep expertise across COA types (PRO, ObsRO, ClinRO, PerfO) and their application in clinical research.
• Experience developing COA endpoint strategies across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Experience developing new COA instruments, including item writing and validation.
• Experience supporting FDA-facing endpoint strategy and regulatory interactions.
• Ability to mentor junior team members.
• Excellent scientific writing, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, DrPH, MSc) strongly preferred.
• Strong publication record and credibility in outcomes research or COA measurement science.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations and workshops.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in developing new client offerings.

Responsabilidades

• Develop COA endpoint strategies across clinical programs and trials.
• Lead regulatory-grade COA strategy and FDA engagement activities.
• Provide leadership in COA instrument development from concept to validation.
• Oversee qualitative research supporting content validity (concept elicitation, interviews).
• Ensure COA instruments are patient-centered and fit-for-purpose.
• Oversee internal teams and ensure high-quality scientific deliverables.
• Support business development with proposal leadership and client design.
• Represent IQVIA as a scientific thought leader externally.
