Alignerr is seeking a Principal Clinical Scientist (AI Training) for an hourly remote contract. You will design and review regulatory-ready clinical trial protocols for AI training and evaluation, and audit trial results for regulatory relevance.

You will evaluate AI-generated analyses for scientific soundness and regulatory alignment, identifying gaps in AI reasoning about outcomes and methodology. Work remotely and autonomously.

Formación

• Senior clinical scientist with hands-on experience designing and reviewing protocols for regulatory submission.
• Experience interpreting clinical data for FDA/EMA or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory science and biostatistics.

About The Role

We're looking for a Principal Clinical Scientist to bring senior-level rigor to AI-driven research workflows. Your work will help ensure that AI models reason about clinical data the way the best scientists do — accurately, methodically, and in line with the standards expected by the FDA, EMA, and equivalent agencies worldwide.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for experienced clinical scientists who want to contribute to something genuinely new — without leaving behind the expertise it took years to build.

What You'll Do

Who You Are

• Senior-level clinical scientist with hands-on experience designing and reviewing clinical trial protocols for regulatory submission
• Deep expertise interpreting clinical data for agencies such as the FDA, EMA, or equivalent
• Strong command of clinical research methodology, biostatistics, or translational science
• Able to critically evaluate complex scientific outputs and communicate findings with precision
• Detail-oriented and systematic — you hold work to a high standard

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
• Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning workflows in a biomedical context
• Background in pharmacology, epidemiology, or regulatory affairs
