AstraZeneca seeks a Senior Clinical Programmer I in Barcelona to lead programming tasks, build data dashboards, and validate data cleaning for ongoing clinical studies. The role emphasizes high technical proficiency and collaboration across study teams.

You will design, develop, implement, and validate sophisticated programs, contribute to the clinical programming roadmap, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance in global data reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional environment.
• Accomplished programming skills in Python/SAS/R/SQL/ SQL/Power BI/ SpotFire or other dashboard technologies.
• Intermediate knowledge of clinical development process
• Good knowledge of industry standards
• Ability to influence relevant partners.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, writing, communication skills, and ability to work within a multi‑functional team
• Ability to work in a distributed team environment.
• Technical expertise with data capture, data models, data mining, and visualization techniques.
• Prior Experience and understanding of EDC systems like Medidata Rave / Inform / Veeva and Data Platforms like Saama/ Entimice, SAS LSAF etc

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, implement, and validate programs in Python/SAS/R and dashboard tools.
• Develop and validate PowerBI dashboard applications.
• Program independently to process, analyse and report clinical trial data for study teams.
• Contribute to high complex projects on the clinical programming roadmap.
• Define processes and tools for global and study-level analytical solutions.
• Draft guidelines to enhance quality, efficiency, timelines.
• Provide technical expertise and cross-training to ensure reports run smoothly.
• Oversee documentation of programming tasks per SOPs and protocols.
• Identify risks and communicate them within assigned studies.
• Collaborate with data management, development operations, clinical, biometrics, and other teams to deliver end-user reporting needs.
• Develop and maintain data visualization tools and dashboards as needed.
