This leadership role requires deep programming experience in SAS (or R) and CDISC, with the ability to guide other programmers within cross-functional teams at our global R&D hub in Barcelona.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or life sciences.
• Excellent programming skills in SAS (or R) and SAS macros.
• Thorough knowledge of the clinical development process.
• Knowledge of CDISC standards and their implementation.
• Ability to apply programming expertise to problem solving.
• Proactive risk management within projects.
• Ability to influence stakeholders on programming items.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead full scope of project delivery for programming within TA/Drug Project/Study.
• Drive high quality deliverables and adherence to standards.
• Develop best practices to improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage external partners and CROs involved in programming activities.
• Provide programming expertise and mentorship to team members.
• Support recruiting and training within the function.
• Influence stakeholders with subject matter expertise on programming.
