Fichtner is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer for Power Transmission Projects for our Madrid office. You will shape complex projects in high-voltage networks, coordinating across disciplines and client sites.

The role requires a Master or Bachelor in civil engineering, 8+ years in substations and transmission lines, fluent English, and a willingness to travel up to 25%. A valid Spain work permit is essential.

Formación

• Master, Bachelor or equivalent in civil engineering.
• At least eight years of experience working in a similar context.
• Experience in planning and construction of substations and transmission lines.
• Fluency in English, both written and oral.
• Willingness to undertake regular trips to the project countries (up to 25%).
• Valid work permit for Spain.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, design, and manage power transmission projects (HV switchgears, substations, lines).
• Provide on-site client consultation across project countries.
• Contribute technical input for proposals.
• Prepare planning and tender documents and feasibility studies.
• Compare and evaluate bids.
• Review design docs, supervise construction, witness tests.
