Job summary

Bryden Wood is seeking an ambitious Senior Civil Engineer to join its design team in Barcelona, Spain. The candidate will own civil design on projects, work across disciplines, and contribute to innovative, sustainable design solutions.

The role requires strong experience in underground drainage, BIM, and coordination with clients and authorities. Knowledge of UK/European codes is advantageous. English and Spanish fluency is expected.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years' experience in design office or construction environments.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of designs on projects and support civil team.
• Engage with clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Develop civil designs including underground drainage, utilities, pavements and earthworks.
• Set project plans, monitor delivery, and manage scope, programme and resources.
