Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences Gruppe invites applications for a Senior Calibration Technician to support calibration and metrology across the manufacturing environment. You will work with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Facilities, and external service providers to ensure compliant, reliable equipment for production.

Required are a degree in metrology or related field and minimum 3 years’ experience. Proficiency in CMMS, GMP, and English technical documentation is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical/professional qualification in Metrology, or equivalent experience in metrology.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in calibration, metrology, or a related technical environment.
• Knowledge of calibration principles, measurement systems, and equipment diagnostics.
• Experience reviewing calibration reports, certificates, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and metrology best practices.
• Experience using CMMS platforms to manage calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of GMP and Good Documentation Practices in a regulated environment.
• Strong computer skills and detail orientation; ability to work independently across teams.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate calibration, preventive maintenance, and inspection activities with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Review calibration certificates, technical documentation, and maintenance records for compliance.
• Manage equipment records and calibration schedules in CMMS.
• Support calibration activities across manufacturing equipment, lab instruments, and environmental monitoring devices.
• Investigate calibration-related discrepancies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Serve as a key technical resource for metrology and calibration processes across the site.
