Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences Gruppe is seeking a Facilities Automation Specialist to lead SCADA, PLC automation and Building Management Systems (BMS/EMS) across plant facilities. You will drive upgrades, troubleshoot, and ensure lifecycle improvements with GMP validation and change-control, while coordinating with Engineering, Quality, IT/OT, and Operations to resolve issues.

Prior experience in a medical device manufacturing environment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5 years experience in manufacturing environment with facilities and building systems.
• Experience leading SCADA, PLC automation, and Building Management Systems (BMS/EMS).
• Experience driving automation system upgrades, troubleshooting, optimization, and lifecycle improvements, including GMP validation and change-control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support SCADA, PLC automation, and Building Management Systems (BMS/EMS) in facilities and utility systems.
• Drive automation upgrades, troubleshooting, optimization, and lifecycle improvements with GMP validation and change-control.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, IT/OT, vendors, and Operations to resolve automation issues.
• Support reliability and continuous improvement through monitoring and data analysis.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs to maintain building systems reliability.
• Review and optimize asset lifecycle and equipment performance.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve facilities and quality issues.
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and EHS requirements.
