Job summary

AECOM is recruiting a CAD Modeler for Linear Infrastructures to contribute to roadways, railways and other civil works in an international team. The role focuses on 2D/3D CAD drawing, design development, and adherence to project CAD standards across multiple offices.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years as a CAD Technician on civil infrastructure projects, strong AutoCAD/MicroStation skills, and a good command of English, with experience in BIM environments and OpenRoads Designer considered a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as CAD Technician on civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading or managing CAD Technician teams.
• Expert in the use of CAD software (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).
• Communicative level of English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and adheres to the project CAD standards or set CAD procedures if not provided.
• Prepares finished design drawings from sketches, notes and layout details in CAD 2D and 3D.
• Performs QAQC of CAD work developed by others.
• Works in a team-based environment with colleagues across offices.
• Performs responsibilities under limited supervision.
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills and resilience to strict timelines.
