Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the YDB Team based in Spain. You will work on a highly scalable distributed database and storage platform, tackling low-level systems challenges with C++ for demanding AI and cloud workloads.

You will optimize for performance, reliability, and scalability in production-grade infrastructure. You will collaborate with experienced engineers across infrastructure, storage, networking, and AI-focused teams in an international environment, owning

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience developing in C/C++ for performance-critical systems.
• Strong understanding of CPU caches, NUMA, and atomic operations.
• Experience debugging production issues with core dumps and flame graphs.
• Experience with Linux kernel-related technologies (SPDK/DPDK/io_uring) is advantageous.
• Kubernetes and Grafana experience desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize YDB components to leverage modern hardware and high-bandwidth networks.
• Improve performance across storage technologies (HDDs, NVMe).
• Design and implement high-performance, low-latency components for production systems.
• Analyze system behavior to identify bottlenecks using profiling and debugging techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust distributed storage solutions.
• Contribute to an open-source codebase and participate in design discussions.
