Job summary

Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf in Madrid seeks a senior buyer to shape omnichannel buying strategies for our LightWoven category at our Madrid design hub. You will develop assortments balancing consumer demand, market trends, brand identity, and financial goals.

You will collaborate with Design to shape development, lead supplier negotiations to secure costs, margins, quality, and delivery terms, and analyze sales performance to adjust buying decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
• 6-8 years of buying experience, ideally in LightWoven or Fast Fashion.
• Strong strategic mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills; fluent Spanish required.
• Knowledge of SAP or Oracle is a plus; English/German beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement omnichannel buying strategies for LightWoven.
• Develop assortment strategies balancing demand, trends, brand identity, and financial goals.
• Collaborate with Design to shape development and opportunities.
• Lead supplier negotiations to secure costs, margins, quality, and delivery terms.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Your Educational Background:You hold abachelor'sdegree inBusiness Administration,FashionMerchandising, or a relatedfield.

Your Strengths:You are strategic, business-minded, and passionate about fashion. You love understanding consumer needs, spotting opportunities, and making data-driven decisions.

Your Profile:You bring 6-8 years of experience in buying, ideally inLightWoven or Fast Fashion. You are a skilled negotiator, highly organized, an excellent communicatorin Spanishand proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of SAP or Oracle, as well as English and German skills, is a plus
