Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf is seeking a senior Buyer to shape omnichannel strategies for our Men’s Knits and develop inspiring assortments. You will collaborate with Design to spot opportunities and lead supplier negotiations to secure best costs and terms.

You’ll manage product lifecycles, analyze market trends, and drive data-driven decisions while mentoring junior buyers. This Madrid-based role offers growth within a leading European fashion group.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in buying, preferably Knit or Fast Fashion.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint); knowledge of SAP or Oracle is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Define and implement seasonal and long-term omnichannel buying strategies for the Men's Knits category.
• Develop assortment strategies balancing demand, trends, brand identity, and financial goals.
• Collaborate with Design to identify product opportunities and influence development.
• Lead supplier negotiations to secure costs, margins, quality and delivery terms; build strategic partnerships.
• Manage drop strategies, product lifecycles, and inventory; analyze sales and trends for data-driven adjustments.
• Mentor and grow junior buyers, sharing knowledge to help them thrive.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Shape Our Strategy: You define and implement seasonal and long-term omnichannel buying strategies for our Men's Knits category.
• Create Inspiring Assortments: You develop assortment strategies that balance consumer demand, market trends, brand identity, and financial goals.
• Collaborate with Design: You work closely with Design, identify product opportunities, and actively influence development.
• Drive Vendor Success: You lead supplier negotiations, secure the best costs, margins, quality, and delivery terms, and build strategic partnerships.
• Optimize Performance: You manage drop strategies, product lifecycles, and inventory, while analyzing sales performance and market trends to make data-driven adjustments in real time.
• Mentor & Grow: You guide Junior Buyers, share your knowledge and help them thrive professionally.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Your Educational Background: You hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
• Your Strengths: You are strategic, business-minded, and passionate about fashion. You love understanding consumer needs, spotting opportunities, and making data-driven decisions.
• Your Profile: You bring 6–8 years of experience in buying, ideally in Knit or Fast Fashion. You are a skilled negotiator, highly organized, an excellent communicator in Spanish and English and proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of SAP or Oracle, as well as German skills, is a plus.
