Formación

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a candidate who will own the P&L for the Rover brand “Cat in a Flat” across 8 countries.

The ideal candidate can navigate with ease across multiple business domains including digital marketing, digital product, engineering, finance, data analytics and many more.

This role will independently identify and quantify business opportunities and risks, prioritize solutions and mitigations, and partner cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to drive execution.

The candidate will report to Rover’s Head of M&A Product Integrations.

This is a quantitative‑oriented role, so effectiveness at data analysis and critical thinking is a must.

* This is a hybrid position that has the minimum expectation to work out of our Barcelona Office in the Poblenou neighborhood 2 days per week on Mondays and Thursdays. For this reason, candidates must be based in Barcelona or willing to relocate. *Please submit CV in English

Your Responsibilities
  • Own the P&L for the Rover brand “Cat in a Flat” across 8 countries
  • Partner with financial planning & analytics to drive monthly, yearly, and long‑term forecasting of the aforementioned P&L for all revenue and cost lines
  • Make business recommendations that inform strategy and roadmapping including identifying, sizing and driving key opportunities and threats for the business
  • Partner with multiple teams across digital marketing, international business, digital product, data analytics, data science, localization, and operations to prioritize investments achieve target outcomes as part of annual strategic planning, quarterly goal setting, and monthly and yearly forecasting
  • Proactively communicate performance updates on progress toward different goals to key stakeholders including senior leadership
Your Minimum Qualifications
  • High fluency in English (C2) is a must. This is the official Rover language and it’s used every day with every internal stakeholder in both written and verbal communication
  • Analytical independence - able to use data to solve complex problems and build complex models in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience owning or managing P&Ls
  • Experience working with digital marketing and organic customer acquisition (SEO, AEO, word of mouth, etc)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to define and execute against clear timelines while driving forward stakeholders
  • Experience evaluating opportunities based on business impact and cost, while effectively prioritizing them based on opportunity size and turning them into clear roadmaps
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to smoothly transition from working on specific details to high‑level strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner cross‑functionally coupled with the ability to influence diverse teams to drive towards critical decisions and deliver outcomes
  • Minimum of 7 years working experience driving cross‑functional program outcomes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or similar degrees
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with software‑related product and analytics teams
  • Experience in online marketplaces
  • Experience operating a business in one or more of the following countries: Germany, France, UK, Spain, Italy
