Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Principal Statistician for an all-remote Europe-based role focused on early-phase clinical trials. The role provides strategic statistical leadership across protocol development, analysis, and CSR delivery, with collaboration across sponsors, teams, and regulatory stakeholders.

The position requires a graduate degree in Biostatistics, extensive trial experience, and strong R programming skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Biostatistics or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Extensive experience in clinical trials and biostatistics.
• Proven program- or project-level leadership experience.
• Strong proficiency in R programming.
• Comprehensive knowledge of study design, analytical methodologies, regulatory requirements.
• Experience with full statistical lifecycle of clinical trials.
• Experience developing and reviewing SAPs, programming specs, outputs.
• Experience with regulatory submissions preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in an international setting.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Remote work from eligible European locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead statistical activities across early-phase trials from protocol development to CSR.
• Develop, review, and oversee SAPs with mock-up tables/listings/figures.
• Serve as Lead Biostatistician on projects and guide statistical input for development decisions.
• Provide statistical input to development strategies and regulatory submissions.
• Create programming specifications for analysis datasets and outputs.
• Review CRFs and database designs to ensure adequate protocol capture.
• Ensure QC and compliance with SAPs and specs.
• Lead multiple projects with integrated analyses and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with sponsors and cross-functional teams to communicate results."
• Support regulatory interactions and DSMB/DMC activities as needed.
• Mentor biostatisticians and develop training materials.
• Manage priorities and timelines across studies.
