Johnson & Johnson Innovation is hiring a Senior Ontologist for Biologics Discovery to design and govern semantic models that connect antibody engineering, assay metadata, and sequence data. You will create reusable ontologies, vocabularies, and mappings to support AI-ready data products across discovery teams.

You will collaborate with biologists, data engineers, and CMC partners to standardize semantic representations and ensure durable governance while enabling interoperable data for knowledge

Formación

• Advanced degree in Biomedical Informatics or related field.
• Experience in ontology design and semantic modeling advantageous.
• Ability to translate complex biology into machine-readable formats.

Responsabilidades

• Design, release, and govern ontology modules and vocabularies.
• Publish API-ready semantic assets for knowledge graphs and AI workflows.
• Elicit concepts from domain experts and translate them into computable models.
• Express concepts as OWL/RDF, SKOS, SHACL, and establish standards.
• Align biologics semantics with enterprise governance and downstream development.

Educación

Advanced degree in Biomedical Informatics / Computational Biology / Bioinformatics / Data Science
