Hexagon Infrastructure & Geospatial in Barcelona seeks a Senior BI Developer to design, build, and deploy semantic BI models and dashboards that empower data‑driven decisions. You will translate business needs into technical specs, collaborate with IT, and guide users on BI tools.

With 5+ years in BI development and strong SQL/DAX skills, you will optimize data flows, ensure data governance, and mentor junior teammates in a hybrid Barcelona office environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development with semantic modeling
• Strong skills in building semantic models and analytics
• Proficient in SQL, DAX, Python or Spark for data querying and modelling
• Experience with ELT tools and data integration (Fabric, Informatica)
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and data warehousing
• Excellent communication to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain semantic models to enable efficient analysis
• Ensure semantic models align with business requirements and governance
• Optimize data models for performance and consistency across BI tools
• Collaborate with business units to gather reporting needs and translate into specs
• Develop dashboards and reports based on business specs for data-driven decisions
• Provide guidance and training to business users on BI tools
• Lead end-to-end BI solution development from concept to delivery
• Create reports, dashboards, and scorecards providing actionable insights
