Ryanair Group Holdings is seeking a Base Maintenance Manager (Lead) to join Europe’s largest airline group’s Engineering team. This senior leadership role will oversee base maintenance across multiple heavy maintenance locations, driving performance, safety, and MOE/Part-145 compliance.

The successful candidate can be based at any of the six sites and must travel frequently. The role reports to the Head of Heavy Maintenance and requires an experienced engineering professional capable of leading

Formación

• Significant experience in base/heavy maintenance within a Part-145 environment.
• Proven leadership of multi-site or distributed teams.
• Strong knowledge of EASA Part-145 and MOE requirements.
• Track record delivering operational performance in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently across bases.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage Base Maintenance Managers across the network, driving performance and accountability.
• Ensure maintenance is delivered and certified per MOE and Part-145 requirements.
• Maintain high safety, compliance, and workmanship standards across bases.
• Oversee manpower planning, resource allocation, and production delivery across sites.
• Ensure bases are resourced with facilities, tooling, materials, and personnel.
• Drive training, competency, and performance standards across maintenance teams.
• Manage subcontractor performance and compliance with quality requirements.
• Liaise with CAMO, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on planning and defect resolution.
• Own safety performance, including risk management and incident reporting.
• Investigate and resolve operational, safety, and compliance issues.
• Ensure MOE and procedures are kept up to date.
• Provide regular reporting and escalation to Head of Heavy Maintenance.
