Miratech is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Golang) to design and build scalable, reliable backend systems. You will develop distributed services, design robust APIs, and implement event-driven architectures, with occasional frontend support in React.

The role emphasizes scalability, security, and maintainability, working on integrations with enterprise platforms. Remote-first culture enables collaboration with a global team across continents.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong experience building backend applications and services using Golang.
• Solid understanding of concurrency in Go and asynchronous workflows.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and message handling (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
• Proven experience designing APIs and event schemas with backward compatibility.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure API design.
• Experience with microservice architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong commitment to automated testing, including unit and integration testing.

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Golang) to design and build scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems. The role involves developing distributed services, designing robust APIs, implementing event-driven architectures, and ensuring high standards of performance, maintainability, and system reliability.

While the primary focus is backend development, occasional contributions to React-based frontend functionality may be required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services in Golang, including RESTful APIs and stable data contracts that evolve safely over time.
• Implement and manage asynchronous, event-driven communication, with strong guarantees around message reliability, idempotency, error handling, and backward compatibility.
• Design and develop distributed systems and microservices with a focus on scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and resource utilization in production environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Conduct code reviews and support knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
• Design code with testability as a core principle, writing and maintaining unit and integration tests for APIs, business logic, and integrations.
• Design and maintain secure APIs and service integrations, applying best practices in authentication, authorization, and identity management.
• Build integrations with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, Genesys Cloud, and other third‑party systems.
• Design and maintain reliable integrations between internal services and external enterprise platforms.

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong experience building backend applications and services using Golang.
• Solid understanding of concurrency in Golangand asynchronous workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with event‑driven architectures and message handling (e.g., Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies).
• Experience with AWS and cloud‑native architectures.
• Proven experience designing APIs and event schemas with long‑term evolution and backward compatibility in mind.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure API design.
• Experience with microservice architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong commitment to automated testing, including unit and integration testing.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React and modern frontend development.
• Experience with TypeScript,Protobuf.
• Experience with cloud platforms Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)
• Experience with identity and access management solutions (Keycloak, Auth0, Okta, or similar).
