Miratech, a global IT services and consulting company, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Golang) to design and build scalable backend systems. You will develop distributed services, robust APIs, and event-driven architectures while ensuring performance and reliability.

Occasional frontend work with React may be required. The role emphasizes API design, security, testing, and seamless integration with enterprise platforms like Salesforce, Dynamics, ServiceNow, and more.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong backend development in Golang.
• Experience with concurrency and async workflows in Go.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
• Design APIs with long-term evolution and backward compatibility.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure API design.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong emphasis on automated testing (unit & integration).

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Golang) to design and build scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems. The role involves developing distributed services, designing robust APIs, implementing event-driven architectures, and ensuring high standards of performance, maintainability, and system reliability.

While the primary focus is backend development, occasional contributions to React-based frontend functionality may be required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services in Golang, including RESTful APIs and stable data contracts that evolve safely over time.
• Implement and manage asynchronous, event-driven communication, with strong guarantees around message reliability, idempotency, error handling, and backward compatibility.
• Design and develop distributed systems and microservices with a focus on scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and resource utilization in production environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Conduct code reviews and support knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
• Design code with testability as a core principle, writing and maintaining unit and integration tests for APIs, business logic, and integrations.
• Design and maintain secure APIs and service integrations, applying best practices in authentication, authorization, and identity management.
• Build integrations with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, Genesys Cloud, and other third-party systems.
• Design and maintain reliable integrations between internal services and external enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong experience building backend applications and services using Golang.
• Solid understanding of concurrency in Golang and asynchronous workflows.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and message handling (e.g., Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies).
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
• Proven experience designing APIs and event schemas with long-term evolution and backward compatibility in mind.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure API design.
• Experience with microservice architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong commitment to automated testing, including unit and integration testing.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React and modern frontend development.
• Experience with TypeScript, Protobuf.
• Experience with cloud platforms Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)
• Experience with identity and access management solutions (Keycloak, Auth0, Okta, or similar).
