Job summary

WebBeds is seeking a Senior Software Developer for the Connectivity area. You will be an experienced member of a self-managed delivery team, working on a high-throughput connectivity layer in C# and Go, influencing technical decisions and guiding others by example.

You will help shape testing, performance and security while growing the team through mentoring and collaboration, delivering reliable software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software development in C#/.NET and/or Go.
• Strong .NET performance knowledge including async/await, GC, Span and pooling.
• Solid understanding of concurrency and multithreading, thread safety, locking.
• Linux experience and understanding of HTTP clients (HTTP/1.1/2, TLS, DNS).
• Experience benchmarking and profiling, diagnosing CPU/memory/GC issues.
• Experience shipping safely in high-traffic systems using feature flags and rollouts.
• Proficient with AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Shape technical direction within a self-managed engineering team.
• Build and evolve the connectivity layer behind search and supplier traffic in C# and Go, including a native hot-path component.
• Benchmark and profile in production and run data-driven experiments.
• Ship changes safely at high volume with feature flags, rollout, rollback and parity checks.
• Write clean, maintainable code following design patterns and SOLID; security built-in.
• Collaborate with QA for automated testing to enable confident shipping.
• Lead by example, review code, mentor teammates, and share knowledge.
• Raise technical debt ideas backed by data and document decisions.
