Parser Limited is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer (Java) to lead the design and delivery of high-scale microservices and messaging systems. You will influence architectural decisions, set technical standards, and drive performance improvements while collaborating with global engineering teams.

You will work with modern AI-assisted tooling to enhance productivity, while delivering reliable, low-latency services for a large-scale retail ecosystem.

Qualificações

• Core language expertise in Java with Spring Boot and reactive patterns.
• Experience designing and delivering microservices and low-latency systems.
• Strong background in asynchronous messaging and event-driven architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, build, and optimise microservices and distributed systems for mission-critical services.
• Influence decisions across several software initiatives, establishing design-pattern rationale.
• Apply expertise in asynchronous messaging, event-driven architectures, and latency management.
• Utilise AI tooling to streamline developer workflows and maintain lean team efficiency.
