Urban Sports Club in Valencia, Spain, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own core services powering the ecosystem. You will start by taking ownership of identity/authentication and the search backend, with plans to build a centralized notification service.

You will design scalable, secure internal APIs, mentor teams, and collaborate with product owners to translate requirements into robust Go-based solutions in a hybrid, EU-friendly setup.

Formación

• Extensive Go backend experience (6+ years) building large-scale systems.
• Experience with Identity/Authentication protocols and search engines.
• Strong knowledge of distributed system design and data structures.
• Proven ability to design secure, developer-friendly internal APIs.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, develop, and maintain core services with initial focus on identity/auth and search backend.
• Design and implement future shared services to support platform scaling.
• Provide robust internal APIs and developer tooling for faster product delivery.
• Write clean, well-tested Go code with operational ownership.
• Promote best practices in system design and automated testing across teams.
• Collaborate with product owners and tech leads to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
