Elastic's Observability Streams team is building Elastic's unified data pipeline and the backend services powering Logstash. You will design, build and operate features in Java and Golang, contribute to the OpenTelemetry Collector, and help deliver reliable data routing at scale.

This remote-first, globally distributed role demands strong communication, deep debugging skills, and a track record of solving complex distributed systems problems while maintaining high test coverage and collaboration

Formación

• Proven backend development in Java/Golang/Ruby.
• Experience with distributed systems and observability tooling.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry Collector is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement new features for Logstash and its plugins in Java and JRuby.
• Build, operate, and optimize core backend services for the Streams program in Golang.
• Contribute to the OpenTelemetry Collector and support customers and enterprise teams.
• Maintain test coverage and collaborate across multiple public repositories.
