EdgeTier is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our backend team in a senior hands-on capacity. You’ll own delivery from design through release, architect APIs and data stores, and mentor junior engineers.

You'll work with Python, SQL, and AI coding tools to shape EdgeTier's core product, maintain high-quality code, and influence architectural decisions in a small, autonomous team. This is a hands-on role with real ownership and impact.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software development experience in product/SaaS.
• Solid Python skills.
• SQL experience, ideally PostgreSQL.
• End-to-end engineering experience: local development to production.
• Strong communication and independent work capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Translate product requirements into technical specs and own delivery end-to-end.
• Architect changes to APIs, services, and databases.
• Write high-quality Python code and participate in code reviews.
• Direct and review AI coding agent outputs for quality.
• Monitor performance and error logs.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and champion best practices.
