Enginy, a Barcelona-based AI-native GTM platform startup, is hiring a Backend Engineer to own high-throughput workflows, data pipelines, and integrations with CRMs and tools used by sales teams.
You will design, build and operate core services, APIs and async workflows, ensuring performance, reliability and observability as the product scales in a fast-moving environment.
Enginy is a Barcelona-based startup and one of Southern Europe's fastest-growing companies ranked #3 in the Sifted 100: Southern Europe 2026, and we're just getting started.
We're building the AI-native GTM platform for modern B2B teams, combining prospecting, enrichment, intent signals, AI research and outreach into one product so sales teams can focus on what truly matters: selling. No wasted time, just results.
After raising a €5M seed round, we're scaling internationally and growing the team behind the product. That means more users, more data, more integrations and harder engineering problems exactly the stage where strong engineers have an outsized impact.
As a Backend Engineer, you'll have real ownership from day one over the engine behind our platform: high-throughput workflows, data pipelines and integrations with the tools our customers live in. You'll make real technical trade-offs and help define how we build as the company scales.
If you enjoy designing systems that hold up under load, debugging the hard stuff and seeing your work directly impact customers, you'll have plenty of room to make a difference here.
Every lead found, every signal detected and every message sent on Enginy runs through our backend. As usage grows, so do the volume, the integrations and the reliability bar and that's the problem space you'll own.
We're looking for an engineer who does more than execute tickets: someone who owns problems end to end, from design to production to observability.
Design → build → ship → observe → scale
What you'll own
Nice to have
We've designed our hiring process to be close to real engineering work. No trivia-heavy interviews and no artificial take-home exercises we focus on how you think through product problems, technical trade-offs, ambiguity, quality, and the use of AI as part of modern engineering.

What to expect:
Research shows that candidates from underrepresented groups often self-select out even when they're a strong match. If this role excites you and you believe you can make an impact at Enginy AI, we encourage you to apply.
