Fidesmo is seeking a backend engineer to join the team building services that connect to payment networks and secure devices. You will extend a microservices architecture, refine data models, and ensure performance and reliability in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

You will lead projects, participate in requirements discussions with internal teams and external partners, and help grow less experienced developers while learning domain tools and standards.

Formación

• 3–5 years professional experience building server-side applications.
• REST API design experience; able to make and defend architecture decisions.
• Experience writing/maintaining unit, functional, and integration tests.
• Experience gathering requirements and working with external partners/customers.
• Deep knowledge of Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
• Enjoys collaborative, small-team work with mutual code review.
• Comfortable working in English day-to-day.

Responsabilidades

• Build and extend backend services that connect to payment networks and partners.
• Improve data models, performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Participate in design decisions, planning and code reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps processes for smooth delivery.
• Lead development projects and mentor less experienced developers.
