Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a Backend Developer to strengthen our Spain-based team. You will design and implement backend services, compose APIs, and contribute to CI/CD using Azure DevOps.

Proficiency in Maven, JPA/JDBC, and databases is expected, with knowledge of OpenShift and scalable architectures. You should be comfortable with distributed tracing, hexagonal architecture, and domain-driven design (DDD).

Qualifications

• Experience in APIs composition and backend services development.
• Knowledge of Maven-based builds and Java persistence APIs (JPA, JDBC).
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with OpenShift and distributed tracing.
• Understanding of hexagonal architecture and domain-driven design (DDD).
• Proficiency in reactive programming and futures.
• Experience with static code analysis tools (Sonar, PMD, Checkstyle).
• Strong experience with relational DBs and NoSQL, Linux OS.
