Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Madrid, seeks a Senior Armament Systems & Weapon Integration Engineer. You will lead end-to-end development and integration of armament systems for aerial platforms, ensuring safety, compliance, and performance throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities include architecture definition, system integration, documentation, testing, and airworthiness activities. Collaboration with suppliers and mentoring of junior engineers are key aspects of the role.

Formación

• Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree is required.
• 5+ years of experience in Aircraft Systems Integration.
• Advanced English and Spanish required (written and spoken).
• Experience with Armament/Stores integration and/or development is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop armament systems and associated equipment for airborne platforms from concept to deployment.
• Perform trade-off analyses, validate architectures, and lead performance analysis.
• Define architectures for Armament Control, Stores Management, and Weapon Bay/Carriage systems with suppliers.
• Prepare and assess technical documentation for armament systems and stores integration.
• Define interfaces and requirements across system levels and perform impact analysis.
• Lead technical integration of weapons and stores with ICDs and system architectures.
• Ensure airworthiness through qualification reports and certification documents.
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold high engineering standards.
