Axpo Group in Madrid is seeking an Application Security Lead to govern security amid emerging technologies. You will design security frameworks, guardrails, and controls for AI platforms and ensure compliance with GDPR, EU AI Act, and NIS2. Strong cloud and DevSecOps foundations, plus English fluency, are essential.

The role involves risk assessments, security reviews, and awareness/training initiatives, with hybrid work options and Madrid office presence.

Formación

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, cloud security, or governance roles.
• Strong fundamentals in application security, cloud security (Azure preferred), DevSecOps, or endpoint security.
• Practical experience with Linux namespaces, seccomp, AppArmor, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, and secret management platforms.
• Working knowledge of AI security risks (prompt injection, jailbreaks, context leakage).
• Familiarity with GDPR, EU AI Act, Swiss FADP regulatory frameworks.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or Azure Security certifications are a plus.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and improve governance and security frameworks across the organization.
• Define and maintain security guardrails, governance principles, and controls for AI platforms, tools, workflows.
• Develop standards and guidance related to AI security and responsible AI usage.
• Design and support security controls including sandboxing, IAM, secret management, and secure API usage.
• Conduct risk assessments and security reviews addressing threats like prompt injection and context leakage.
• Ensure compliance with EU AI Act, GDPR, Swiss FADP, and NIS2.
• Provide awareness and training initiatives on secure and responsible AI usage.
