JBT Marel is seeking a Senior Application Consultant SAP SD/CS to lead SAP Sales & Service processes across the global SAP landscape. You will translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions, drive CAPEX initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders and implementation partners.

• Strong functional expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution and Customer Service processes
• Experience delivering SAP projects within global organisations
• Transformation, ERP implementation, or large-scale CAPEX programmes

Responsibilities

• Act as the functional lead for SAP SD/CS within strategic CAPEX and transformation projects
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
• Lead functional design activities across Sales, Customer Service, and related processes
• Provide expertise through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and hyper-care
• Coordinate with SAP consultants, developers, key users, and external partners
• Drive continuous improvement and harmonisation of Order-to-Cash and Service Management processes
• Support testing activities, training programmes, and user adoption
• Ensure SAP solutions align with objectives and standards
• Manage enhancements, functional changes, and issue resolution
• Contribute to SAP roadmap development and future process improvements

Senior Application Consultant SAP SD/CS

As Senior Application Consultant SAP SD/CS, you will combine deep SAP functional expertise with strong project delivery capabilities, playing a leading role in strategic business transformation and CAPEX initiatives.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP colleagues, and implementation partners to design, implement, and optimize SAP solutions that support our global commercial and service operations. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys translating business requirements into scalable solutions and driving continuous improvement across complex organizations.

You are a business-oriented SAP professional with extensive experience in SAP Sales & Distribution and Customer Service processes. You understand how technology can enable business success and enjoy working at the intersection of business and IT.

As the functional lead within strategic projects, you will guide SAP solution design, support implementation activities, and ensure successful adoption of new capabilities. What You’ll Do

• Act as the functional lead for SAP SD/CS within strategic CAPEX and transformation projects
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions
• Lead functional design activities across Sales, Customer Service, and related business processes
• Provide expertise throughout project lifecycle phases including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and hyper‑care
• Coordinate with SAP consultants, developers, key users, and external implementation partners
• Drive continuous improvement and harmonisation of Order‑to‑Cash and Service Management processes
• Support testing activities, training programmes, and user adoption initiatives
• Ensure SAP solutions align with business objectives, architectural standards, and best practices
• Manage enhancements, functional changes, and issue resolution within the SAP SD/CS domain
• Contribute to SAP roadmap development and future process improvements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of SAP SD and/or Customer Service experience, or a Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience

• Understand Order‑to‑Cash, Service Management, Variant Configuration, and related business processes
• Demonstrate experience delivering SAP projects within global organisations
• Have successfully contributed to transformation, ERP implementation, or large‑scale CAPEX programmes

• Are able to engage effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders at multiple organisational levels
• Excel in stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration
• Bring a continuous improvement mindset and passion for process excellence
• Communicates fluently in English; additional languages are an advantage
