URTASUN TECNOLOGÍA ALIMENTARIA, S.L. in Navarra is hiring a Logistic Specialist who will ensure end-to-end delivery performance for equipment and spare parts, coordinating warehousing and shipments across multiple modes while maintaining compliance with export controls and Incoterms.

The role collaborates with Production and Procurement to optimize inbound/outbound flows, analyzes KPI trends, and supports cost control through freight expense monitoring.

Qualifications

• English: Upper Intermediate (B2) or higher.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience in logistics, shipping, transportation, or supply chain operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Secure process alignment within the local shipping team in accordance with global JBT Marel standards.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on shipping operations, productivity, carrier integration, service quality, and delivery performance.
• Initiate corrective and preventive actions where necessary.
• Monitor and support the analysis of End-to-End delivery performance to ensure strategic KPIs are achieved.
• Monitor and analyze monthly freight costs, explain financial developments, and approve carrier invoices.
• Ensure compliance with financial, customs, and export regulations, including Export Registration, HS Codes, Incoterms, Country of Origin, and Certificates.
• Manage outbound shipments of Equipment and Spare Parts to JBT Marel sales offices, distributors, technicians, and end customers using various transportation modes, including Air, Sea, Rail, Road, and Parcel services.
• Support Procurement and Manufacturing teams on inbound logistics flows from external suppliers.
• Support the Global Logistics Director with logistics and supply chain improvement projects.

Position Summary

The Logistic Specialist reports directly to the Production Director and is responsible for ensuring End-to-End delivery performance. The role focuses on securing successful and on-time deliveries of both Equipment and Spare Parts to internal and external customers, while driving operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across warehousing and logistics activities.
