zooplus is seeking an experienced Android Engineer to join our Mobile Apps Team in Madrid. You will deliver features for our leading pet e-commerce platform, collaborating with Product Owner, Architect and teammates to translate business needs into robust mobile solutions.

You will work in a self-organised, Scrum-driven environment using Java/Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVVM and modern tooling to ship high-quality apps used by millions. Hybrid office/home setup with global collaboration.

Formación

• 6+ years of Android development using Kotlin and modern tech stack.
• Strong experience with Jetpack Compose, ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation and Room.
• Proven knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modularization.
• Hands-on with dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger) and REST APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation (JUnit, Espresso).
• Ability to work independently in an Agile/Scrum team and guide juniors.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in solution investigation, planning and alignment with teams.
• Design, implement, deliver, and support new features for Android apps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into mobile apps.
• Promote test automation and reliability across unit, UI, and integration tests.
• Build and publish new app versions using Jenkins Pipeline and Google Play.
• Maintain code quality, reduce technical debt, and contribute to DevOps practices.
• Engage in pair programming, code reviews and knowledge sharing.
