Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Scientist, Data Science to design, develop, evaluate, and deploy AI/Generative AI systems for Therapeutics Development & Supply. This hands-on IC role spans product development, manufacturing, clinical supply chain, and quality to deliver AI-driven solutions and workflows.

You will work with DDSAI and TDS teams to implement reusable components, ensuring responsible AI practices and robust evaluation. This is a hybrid role with global impact.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on AI/NLP/ML development experience with LLMs.
• Working knowledge of Pharmaceutical Product Development (CMC).
• Proficient in Python; able to develop, test and document code.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy AI solutions for documentation, knowledge retrieval, and evidence synthesis.
• Build components of agentic AI workflows across multi-step scientific and supply chain processes.
• Follow established DDSAI architectures and platform standards for AI development.
• Collaborate with regulatory, quality, and scientific teams to translate needs into AI requirements.
